Motorola Solutions presents its leading mission-critical ecosystem at Intersec in Dubai, starting today till 21st January 2020, where it will offer a preview of its newest addition to its video security portfolio, the Avigilon H5M outdoor dome camera.

The new camera provides customers with a cost-effective solution for budget-conscious video security projects that require a small footprint camera for outdoor use. The H5M camera can handle tough environmental conditions while offering AI-powered Unusual Motion Detection (UMD) — all backed by a five-year warranty.

The new camera features a small footprint and provides seamless integration with other open-platform systems. The highly intelligent camera works to help users save time through its built-in AI technology that flags unusual events. The H5M camera is cost-effective and easy to install, addressing a wide variety of security needs and helping projects remain on time and on budget.

“Society, economy and public safety are undergoing a digital transformation. We provide commercial customers and public safety organizations with the right intelligence and solutions to help them enhance their operational efficiency, responsiveness and safety,” said Patrick Fitting, senior sales director, Middle East at Motorola Solutions.

In addition to the new Avigilon H5M outdoor dome camera, Motorola Solutions presents its full portfolio of video security and analytics solutions in Dubai, including:

  • The Avigilon H5A camera line, which offers next-generation video analytics technology that can detect more objects with greater accuracy even in crowded scenes, whether as stationary or moving objects.
  • The latest version of the Avigilon Control Center (ACC) software introducing a new concept in live video monitoring – Focus of Attention – which leverages artificial intelligence and video analytics technologies to determine what information is important and should be presented to security operators. ACC leverages advanced artificial intelligence and video analytics, including Appearance Search technology and Unusual Motion Detection technology. The bookmark, event, alarm and thumbnail search options in ACC are designed to improve event response times and help make video actionable.
  • Avigilon License Plate Recognition (LPR)analytics which automatically read license plate information from vehicles, linking it to live and recorded video. This solution enables security operators to search and quickly find specific captured license plate video for verification and investigation.
  • The Avigilon Access Control Manager (ACM) helps organizations to keep people, property and assets safe with an easy-to-use, role-based system that can grow with the organization. It has the flexibility to work with existing systems, helping to eliminate extra work and increase productivity.

Highlights at Intersec also include Motorola Solutions’ extended portfolio of body-worn camera solutions: the compact VideoTag VT-50, VideoBadge VB-320 and the VideoBadge VB-400 for security operations in retail and hospitality environments, as well as in hospitals, airports and train stations. Moreover, Motorola Solutions introduces an in-vehicle video camera systems and evidence management software, which work as one highly integrated, synchronized system to capture the most compelling and unbiased video evidence.

As businesses and public safety organizations invest in technologies to more effectively aid those in the field, multiple systems can overload control room operators with information. Motorola Solutions’ Command Center Software Suite helps to organize increasing data volumes from various sources, streamline workflows to keep public safety officers safe and to enhance operational efficiency. Command Central Community allows members of the public to anonymously provide information and includes an easy-to-use interface that helps public safety agencies to quickly respond to and manage the submitted information.

In emergency situations, organisations depend on instant and reliable mission-critical broadband push-to-talk (PTT) solutions to coordinate everyday operations and unexpected emergency responses. Motorola Solutions’ portfolio of mission-critical broadband PTT solutions – standards-compliant and future-ready broadband push-to-talk solutions – offers seamless interoperability between users on land mobile radio systems and 5G, 4G and 3G cellular networks. It instantly connects teams across different devices, networks and locations, no matter which technology they are using.

When disasters strike and critical communication is limited or non-existent, public safety and commercial users such as utility providers can rely on easy-to-carry full power broadband networks: The Motorola Solutions LXN 505 LTE Ultra Portable Infrastructure enables users to take their network with them. Covering a spectrum of use cases from backpack to in-vehicle to in-building and fixed site, LTE coverage can be quickly and securely established anywhere and anytime. Weighing less than 6 kilograms and with a start-up time of less than 5 minutes from power on, the LXN 505 LTE Ultra Portable Infrastructure is Motorola Solutions’ smallest and lightest full power broadband network.
