The video surveillance market is gaining popularity in the region with market research projecting the Middle East commercial security market to grow to $5.6 billion in 2022. Dell EMC is a strong player in this field with a robust portfolio of surveillance solutions built on data lake architecture. The EMC surveillance solutions offer an open platform along with distributed, centralized and cloud storage technologies.

Seeing the increase in demand for proven solutions, Dell EMC recently participated in the security and safety trade show, Intersec 2018. The company used this platform to meet customers and allow them to gauge Dell EMC’s capabilities in terms of software solutions, hardware, servers, storage solutions, etc. that will allow them to design the best solution for their secure video surveillance requirements.

Jack O’Reilly, Director – Business Development at Dell EMC OEM & IOT Solutions EMEA

Jack O’Reilly, Director – Business Development at Dell EMC OEM & IOT Solutions EMEA told Channel Post that the company has one of the most advanced surveillance validation labs that are equipped with leading surveillance technology from all major vendors in the world to validate best-in-breed commercial security applications with Dell EMC’s portfolio of products.

“From the edge to the cloud Dell EMC has proven architectures to provide almost any solution required. We are witnessing an increase in the demand for our solutions in this region which is why we participated in Intersec this year to showcase our products to customers and partners,” explained O’Reilly.

He added that Dell EMC’s server appliances are easy to set-up, deploy and maintain. With appliance-ready Dell EMC 14th Generation PowerEdge platforms customers get the added advantage of bringing custom-branded, hardware-plus software appliances to market faster. Further, the company’s storage portfolio is scalable and widely validated for video surveillance.

O’Reilly emphasized that events like Intersec offer the right platform for networking which is the reason for the company’s returning participation at the event. “The biggest benefit for us has been in getting fruitful leads and new business from this event. We were able to communicate our message to the relevant audience besides showcasing our wide range of solutions to a large number of people in a short span of time.”
