ESET announced that it has been named as a Challenger in the Omdia Market Radar – Mobile Security Management Solutions report. ESET’s mobile security management solutions were evaluated in this report which explores the market for such solutions due to their growing importance in securing hybrid and mobile-first work styles.

Omdia conducts independent market research to gain a holistic view of technology ecosystems and offers this report to help enterprises, vendors and service providers understand how mobility affects the workplace. This is the first time ESET has been included in Omdia research and is one of only seven vendors featured in the report.

With the pandemic acting as a catalyst for a significant increase in remote and hybrid working, mobile device security must be a priority for businesses. Omdia highlights that those vendors supporting the mobile security needs of enterprises will be increasingly important to businesses’ security strategies, while the mobile security management landscape itself is set to expand.

ESET’s mobile security management solutions support businesses in preventing, detecting, and remediating security threats targeted at the mobile workforce. This report evaluated both the standalone ESET Endpoint Security for Android and the mobile device management capabilities in ESET PROTECT Enterprise, especially its ease of use via a single pane of glass. The report recognizes ESET’s strong capabilities in supporting mobile security management across both Android and iOS, and highlights ESET’s threat intelligence services and the use of machine learning in its security solutions.

Zuzana Legáthová, Analyst Relations Manager at ESET, commented, “We are excited to be featured in this Omdia report for the first time and to be named a Challenger in the mobile security sector. We understand that businesses’ security needs are constantly evolving, and mobile devices will play an increasing role in the cybersecurity threat landscape. The world of work has changed dramatically in the past year, and we are proud to support our partners and clients with our cutting-edge technology and expert insight as they adapt to new ways of working.”
