ASSA ABLOY announced the acquisition of a UK based leading designer and manufacturer of high performance door sealing systems, Lorient. Given the strong commercial synergies between the two companies, the acquisition will create opportunities to drive innovation and add value to their customers by offering a broader product portfolio.
Lorient will continue to operate as autonomous businesses as part of the Door Hardware Group, retaining the existing strong commercial and operational team that has made the business the success it is today. Existing customer contact points remain unchanged.
