Brivo launched Brivo Reseller MCP, the first Model Context Protocol server for security systems integrators. By connecting AI assistants and partner portal tools through the MCP, resellers can create dashboards, identify customers up for renewal, review service tickets, understand growth patterns, and do analysis in minutes that would normally take days or weeks—all from inside the LLM they normally use. Brivo also introduced a private beta for Brivo MCP for end users.
“Brivo meets our customers and partners wherever they do their work. Today many people spend a lot of time working in tools like Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini—because these tools are so powerful,” said Steve Van Till, Brivo Founder and President. “You can now use whatever AI tool you like to help manage your Brivo system using natural language prompts. We meet you where you need us to meet you.”
Using Brivo in conjunction with an AI assistant gives security resellers powerful new ways to grow their business. For example, a reseller can now get a comprehensive sales analysis by asking an AI assistant a question such as, “Show my account, door, and panel growth by month for the last 12 months, my accounts by pricing tier, and how I am tracking against my sales target.”
Key benefits and capabilities:
- Equipment status: Find offline control panels and review firmware, reader, and door errors across customer accounts.
- Account details: View sites, doors, panels, editions, enabled features, settings, and billing cycles in one place.
- Usage and growth: Monitor credential usage, administrator counts, and account or hardware growth over time.
- Practical outputs: Create formatted customer reports, support tickets, and quotes.
- Convenience: View security data alongside CRM, billing, email, support, and project software.
- Role-based permissions: Queries and actions align with existing Brivo admin profile settings.
- Plain-language prompts: Allow resellers and end users to manage portfolios or ask account questions in natural language.
