Prosero Security is strengthening its presence in Norway through acquisition of JWJ Brann & Sikkerhet. This will be Prosero’s second addition of a Norwegian company devoted entirely to fire protection.
JWJ Brann & Sikkerhet specializes in fire protection and physical safety, with a particular focus on the energy sector – for example in power and transformer stations. The company delivers, installs, and maintains equipment such as fire and safety doors, lock and fitting systems, fire and smoke control dampers, and signage and marking for emergency evacuation, with special solutions for energy facilities.
JWJ Brann & Sikkerhet has significant growth potential with its market segment and can complement Prosero’s operations in multiple areas. Their offering comprises consulting services, service agreements, and maintenance, including deliverables from project planning and execution to maintenance, throughout Norway.
JWJ Brann & Sikkerhet have considerable experience from the energy sector (Norwegian power supply), and thanks to its broad portfolio, they have been a reliable partner for 25 years to businesses in Norway’s energy industry.
Its nine employees work from offices in Sarpsborg in southeastern Norway but will move to new, larger facilities in autumn 2025.
“With exceptional competence in fire and security products for the energy sector, JWJ Brann & Sikkerhet is a unique player in the Norwegian market, and further strengthens Proseros’ offering, says Andreas Setting”, Country Manager for Prosero Norway. “Many of our branches work with customers in the energy industry, and with JWJ Brann & Sikkerhet, we’ll be able to improve our offering even more in fire safety and protection.”
“We look forward to becoming part of Prosero. With our specialist knowledge in fire protection and physical security, we can contribute to the group’s expertise while also expanding our offering to our current customers. Many of our customers are already requesting services available from Prosero, and now we’re able to offer them a complete solution,” says Anders Bøhaugen, CEO of JWJ Brann & Sikkerhet.
