Dubai records 4,400 violations using drones

The authorities in Dubai announced that they used Drones to record 4,400 violations for a variety of offenses committed during the first quarter of the year. Out of these, 518 were charged for not wearing face masks and 37 for jaywalking.

Additionally, 2,933 traffic violations included 128 cycling violations, 159 wanted cars, and 706 violations against electric bikes. These flying machines also helped the police to monitor and catch culprits involved with drugs dealing in real time

Described as one of its kind project, Dubai police has been pleased with results as drones helped them in nabbing the culprits in short period. The wide variety of applications drones offer to investigative agencies also has been the outcome of this project.
