ZKTeco USA has launched Cielo365, a new cloud-based access control platform that integrates biometric authentication with centralized physical security management. The platform is designed to simplify the transition to cloud infrastructure while remaining compatible with both legacy and next-generation ZKTeco hardware.
Unified Access Management with Cloud Scalability
Cielo365 operates as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform, allowing users to manage access control remotely from any device. It supports a range of ZKTeco hardware, including the SpeedFace and Pro Series panels, as well as the recently launched Omni Series. Such backward compatibility enables organizations to migrate to the cloud without replacing existing infrastructure.
“We truly offer customers a one stop shop access control solution that is extremely scalable and cost effective,” said Esteban Pastor of ZKTeco USA. “Users now have an easy way to transition to the cloud with Cielo365 and use one centralized interface to control access and monitor multiple locations globally.”
The platform offers real-time monitoring, site-wide reporting, user role management, and features like anti-passback and interlock functionality. Its centralized dashboard gives organizations the ability to control and audit access across multiple facilities, improving security coordination at scale.
Industry Trends and Biometric Integration
Cielo365 reflects a broader shift within the access control industry toward cloud-native platforms that combine strong security features with operational flexibility. ZKTeco has steadily expanded its digital identity capabilities in recent years, including partnerships aimed at supporting decentralized authentication architectures. The company has also demonstrated cross-platform integration in past projects, such as incorporating facial recognition into third-party systems like LenelS2’s OnGuard platform.
Biometric authentication is a core feature of Cielo365, drawing from ZKTeco’s expertise in facial recognition, fingerprint scanning, and multimodal verification. The platform’s launch follows rising demand for secure, contactless access solutions in sectors ranging from enterprise to education to critical infrastructure.
